Sauerkraut Curry

Ingredients
- 7 oz / 200 g dry lentils
- 2 lbs / 900 g chicken breast fillet
- 3 onions
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 1.3 lbs / 600 g potatoes
- 8 red peppers
- 2.2 lbs / 1000 g sauerkraut
- 2 cups / 500 ml vegetable broth
- 7 oz / 200 g cream cheese
- 1 large pineapple
- Curry powder
- Chili
- Salt
- Pepper
Directions
- Wash the chicken breast, pat dry, cut into cubes & fry without any fat. Press garlic, dice onions & add to the chicken, fry briefly
- Dice potatoes, quarter the peppers, cut them into thin strips & add them to the chicken & let them saute for about 5 minutes
- Drain the sauerkraut, add it to the chicken with the broth and spices & simmer for about 15-20 minutes
- Peel the pineapple, cut it into cubes and stir in the cream cheese
- Let simmer for another 2 minutes
